As a Producer, Broadcaster, Speaker, Instructor, Engineer, and Army Veteran, I’ve frequently been labeled as a “Jack-of-all trades.” Yet, I’d rather emphasize that I’ve mastered media. Along my path, I’ve had the honor of collaborating with professionals across film, television, music, and new media. With a background as a professional performer and musician, entertainment has always been integral to my life. I take great pleasure in sharing the camaraderie and power of that experience.
All business owners know how challenging it is to start your own business. A lot goes into making a business run smoothly, especially behind the scenes such as marketing and financing. As a martial arts instructor, business owner, and bully awareness coach, I have learned this through hard work and dedication to my craft. That’s why I also rely on the experience of those who can coach and mentor others in business and in life. So let us listen to what they have to teach, learning from their failures and successes. As an entrepreneur I have also learned it is about havint the right people around us. Hence why Business Life and Morris so important. It's about business life, our family, and the people in our professional community.
As an Option Head and Associate Professor of Entertainment Media Management at California State University Northridge, I have the privilege of working with Entertainment professionals and students. Before teaching, I previously worked in Television Advertising and I am also an Industry Consultant with a passion for Audience Research and host of the Hollywood Holmes show.
As a proud 10-year Marine Corps veteran, I embody the core values of Honor, Courage, and Commitment in every aspect of my life. Throughout my military career, I naturally gravitated towards leadership roles, within the armed forces and my local community. My dedication to supporting fellow veterans led me to write the book “How to Grow a Beard: A Military Transition Guide Back into Civilian Life,” where I share insights and strategies for navigating the challenging transition to civilian life. I also enjoy sharing some of those insights by interviewing guests on my show, Year of the Vet.
